AMPUTEE SEAT (HINGE)
Designed for the above-knee amputee, the solid seat has locking
leg extensions which can be lowered for ease of transfers.
The seat is held in place by a strap around the back of the
chair.
In order to attach the
hinge aprox. 1 1/2" is required at the front of the seat,
this will increase the overall seating depth unless the upholstery
is moved back. Custom shops may want to place cut-outs
and use drop hooks.
The hinge extension is 9" long, foam cushions on the extensions
are 2" thick and are held in place with hook and loop.
